The Kitten Story

Hi, I am a kitten and this is my story. When I was in my mama's womb with my twin sister I didn't have to worry about the world, It was just my mom who would carry me around in her womb and face the hardships coming in the way. God gave me a life by promising me how beautiful it would be to feel things like hunger, love etc. But little did I know that life was not so easy. No, I am not talking about my birthday which the humans celebrate every year so eagerly, we are not that lucky, I am talking about my death-day just after one week when I was born. We kittens are perhaps able to open our eyes after approximately one week. So, yes you could say that God gave me a chance to explore life but the one thing that God didn't tell me were the devilish things that reside in the world along with the beauty of it. It was the night when I and my twin sister were sleeping in my mom's arms, I was able to open my eyes a day ago and was very happy of the new life that God gave me, and sleeping in mom's arms felt like the safest place in the world. But then in the middle of the night we could sense the presence of another cat, perhaps a devilish one and him coming closer, my mom got alarmed and she rose up at once to protect us because she knew that he was here for us. My mom started to hide us ASAP but the devil attacked us, and though my mom was frightened of him, she fought him with all her might, she fought for us, she fought for our life. I got scared and thought my mom is in trouble and when I went to see, the devil got hold off me and took me away, and I was gone, all of my dreams, all of my wishes were taken away by that devil. Since then, my mom is in shock and trauma, she couldn't believe what just happened and she blames herself for the death of her kitten since then she is trying everything by changing places and finding a safe place so that she can save my twin sister.

Birth to Kittens

Sixteen months later she gave birth to two kittens (a male and a female). The day she gave birth, she proved to be a responsible mom by keeping her kittens safe and sound from any injury possible, there were things that she was afraid of before but when it came to saving her kittens, she would risk her own life for them. I guess that’s the definition of mom, doing whatever she can to keep her young ones alive. People say that cat's change houses after giving birth, they will move from one house to another up to seven houses. But it's not the truth, they might change places because staying at the same place might give way to other predators to attack, so changing places is a good way so that the mother can save her kitten from the predators.
